The excursion to the islands of the lagoon includes a personalised itinerary to discover the smaller islands and the most evocative and less frequented corners of the north and south Venice lagoon.
Our operators will welcome customers at the established boarding/disembarking point (Tronchetto passenger terminal, Port of Venice, Piazza San Marco, Punta Sabbioni).

Excursion to the islands of the Venice lagoon
the tour will take you to discover the main islands of the northern Venice lagoon: Murano, the island of glass, Burano, famous for the production of lace and its colourful houses and Torcello, site of the lagoon’s most ancient civilisation, where it is possible visit the splendid Cathedral with its Byzantine mosaics.

Transfer from Punta Sabbioni to San Marco
Starting from the boarding point of Punta Sabbioni, we cross the northern lagoon of Venice along the islands of Sant’Erasmo, Vignole and the Venice Lido.
A stop is planned in Riva degli Schiavoni to visit Piazza San Marco and its monuments.
On the way back, our staff will take care of the return to Punta Sabbioni.
The duration of the route via Punta Sabbioni is about 35 minutes (each section).

Transfer from Tronchetto to San Marco
via Canal Grande
This transfer winds along the Grand Canal, the city’s main waterway, overlooked by patrician palaces and the most evocative churches of Venice.
The outward journey (or return depending on the case and the availability of taxis) along the Grand Canal will be carried out by taxi with a maximum capacity of 12 people.
The duration of the journey via the Grand Canal is approximately 40 minutes.
The return (or the outward journey depending on the case) will be carried out along the Giudecca canal from which you can enjoy a splendid panorama of Piazza San Marco and the evocative “skyline” created by the cornices of the Venetian palaces that overlook the canal.
The duration of the route via Canale della Giudecca is about 20 minutes.
Our staff will be at your disposal throughout the journey and during the boarding and return operations at the Tronchetto terminal.
via Giudecca Canal
It starts from the island of Tronchetto (bus parking), the point at which boarding operations are carried out, to continue along the Giudecca Canal, the wide canal that separates Giudecca island from the Dorsoduro district and flows directly into the San Marco basin.
Along this path you can admire many buildings symbolic of the city: the nineteenth-century Molino Stucky which stands imposingly on the western tip of the island, the splendid Church of the Redentore designed by the architect Andrea Palladio, Punta della Dogana, the extreme point that divides the Giudecca canal from the San Marco basin and theisland of San Giorgio up to the famous Piazza San Marco, where you can visit the monuments of the Marciana area
The duration of the route via the Giudecca canal is about 20 minutes (each way).
